Registration & Journey

The online registration will remain open throughout. From 01.10.2025 the late booking tariff applies (fees). In case of any problems, you will find us on-site at the congress office (Tue–Thur, 08:00-18:00 | Fri, 08:00-16:00).

New: Please come to the CityCube Berlin, Messedamm 26, 14055 Berlin. Kindly have your eTicket respectively new Intercongress Card ready.

Please use car park P14+P17+P18 for 15 EUR per day. Due to the limited number of spaces, we recommend travelling by public transport or taxi.

At the entrance, the QR code you received on your registration confirmation will be scanned. Please show your eTicket (via smartphone or printed) or your new Intercongress Card.

Please scan the QR code of your eTicket at the printing station (level 1). Your Intercongress Card is a reusable name badge. The matching lanyard is available there as well.

In the entrance foyer,  you may hand in clothes for 3 EUR and bags for 6 EUR each incl. insurance (Tue, 07:45-20:30 | Wed, 07:45-18:45 | Thu, 07:45-19:15 | Fri, 07:45-16:15).

Appropriate behaviour is repeatedly pointed out during the congress. To report violations, please contact the congress office.

The congress languages are German and English (according to the session or lecture title). Please use your own translation app (e.g. DeepL, Google, Apple) with earphones.

Please hand in/collect lost property at the cloakroom. After the congress, lost property will be stored at the Messe-Fundbüro, Hall 21 (Tel. 030 3038-1785).

Eco-friendly carrier bags will be provided in the info area (entrance foyer).

Programme & Events

The speaker preview room is located in Hall A (level 1). Please upload your presentation via the presentation portal at least 2 hours before the session starts. More details on presentation technique can be found here.

Our PocketGuide with daily overviews is handed out at the info area (entrance foyer). Please find the latest content at any time in the web programme or Intercongress-App (Google Play, App Store).

During the whole congress, the posters will be exhibited in front of halls Helsinki & Budapest and presented in the Lichthof (hall 7). Technical information can be found here.

Registration takes place in advance via the relevant academy. On-site please ask directly at the respective course room.

The Opening will start on Tuesday, 28.10.2025 at 17:15 in the Festsaal. The Get Together will take place from 19:00 in the foyers.

The Congress Party will take place on Thursday, 30.10.2025 at KaDeWe (Tauentzienstr. 21-24, 10789) Berlin. Admission starts at 20:30. Please bring your eTicket incl. the booking (165 EUR).

The Ärztekammer Berlin awards 6 credits per day. Further certifications can be viewed here.

All day certificates (e.g. Ärztekammer) are recorded centrally at the entrance and automatically uploaded in your MyArea at the end of the congress. NEW: For session certificates (D.A.F., DGUV, DVSE, EndoCert) please scan the QR code yourself at the lecture hall if required. Please register in advance with your MyArea login details at www.qna.at/dkou.

The sessions in London 1 will be live streamed (without certification). The content as well as the sessions in the Festsaal are available on demand for one year after the congress (according to your booking). Access is via your MyArea for the respective session in the programme.

Accepted abstracts will be published for citation at PUBLISSO after the congress.

Exhibition & Service

The accompanying exhibition is located in Halls A and B (level 1+2). You will find an overview of the exhibiting companies in the PocketGuide, in the Intercongress-App and on our congress website.

Visitors may only attend the exhibition with a valid eTicket during opening hours (Tue, 08:30-17:30 | Wed, 08:30-18:30 | Thu, 08:30-19:00 | Fri, 08:30-16:30). Minors are not permitted to enter the premises in accordance with the Heilmittelwerbegesetz (HWG §10).

After booking by 16.10.2025, your child will receive professional care at the on-site KIDS Club for EUR 10 per day (Tue, 08:00-17:30 | Wed, 08:00-18:30 | Thu, 08:00-19:00 | Fri, 08:00-16:30).

Catering at extra cost (5 EUR to 20 EUR) is available at the food courts in the exhibition (Tue-Fri, 08:30/11:00-17:00).

Workshops take place every day during the lunch break. For details, please refer to the web programme, the Intercongress-App or this overview.

Yes, the Joint Stand O&U is located in front of Hall B (level 2). You will also find information on reduced rookie membership there.

The RE:LIVE – Surgical Technique Theater will be showing moderated surgical videos in front of Hall A (level 1). Start-ups and research institutes are located on the same level next to the Plug & Work. Experience formats in the form of short presentations/demonstrations will take place during breaks in some exhibition areas.

This year, development projects in Namibia will be presented. Find out more at the stand in Hall B (level 2), and don’t miss the wine tasting!

The aim is to make the congress as sustainable as possible in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The measures include environmental, economic and social objectives.
